Panasonic Store Inverness Terms and Conditions

1.  These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed for the products identified on the Panasonic Store Click & Collect webshop and purchased on this website. PLEASE READ THESE CONDITIONS - IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER USING THIS SYSTEM, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL APPLY TO YOUR PURCHASE. 


2.  The supplier of the goods to which these terms and conditions apply (referred to hereafter as 'we' or 'us' as the context requires) is Panasonic Store Inverness, 112 Academy Street, Inverness, IV1 1LX. 


3.  Whilst we will try to fulfil any orders placed with us within any stated time, we shall not (save as otherwise required by law) be liable for the consequences of any delay or failure to deliver.


 4.  Notwithstanding any indication given by the system, all orders are accepted subject to availability.


 5.  Panasonic Store Inverness reserves the right to withdraw
any promotional offers and errors without prior notice.


 6.  Orders accepted shall only be delivered to addresses within the UK.


 7.  Orders must be paid for at the time of ordering using one of the following credit/debit cards: Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard,
Mastercard Debit and are conditional upon subsequent validation of the card transaction with the issuer.


Orders reserved for collection at the Store (or designated collection premise) must be paid for at the time of collection.  Payments can be made with a credit/debit card (as previously identified above) or with cash.  Goods will be held for 72 hours awaiting collection, after which time they will be returned to stock.  Any monies paid for said goods will be fully refunded.


8.  To ensure that your credit/debit card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third-party databases.  By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made.  In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information.  You can be assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected.  All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  


 9.  When you place an order, all communications are performed with the use of our secure server software (SSL) which encrypts all the information you send to us before it leaves your computer.  Our secure server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address.  The encryption process takes the information you enter and converts it into code that is then securely transmitted over the internet in a way that cannot be intercepted by anyone other than ourselves.  Even if it were possible for anyone to intercept this information, they would not be able to understand it because of the encryption process we use.



10.  In the event that an order cannot be accepted by reason of non-availability of stock, your order may be cancelled.  As stock becomes available any order re-submitted shall be accepted at the price pertaining at the time of re-submission.


 11.  Whilst we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur.  If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we reserve the right to cancel the order and invite you to place another order for the goods at the correct price.  If we cannot contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.  If we
cancel the order and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund.


 12.  Any orders placed and paid for online are subject to your rights of cancellation pursuant to the
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, except in respect of supply of audio or video recordings or computer software if you have unsealed their packaging. 

Your right to cancel.

As a consumer, you automatically get 14 day cooling off period when you buy something that you haven’t seen in person, unless the item is made to your personal specifications (i.e. custom made or made to measure). Your 14-day cooling off period commences as soon as your order is received either at your own address or an alternative address specified by you. There does not need to be anything wrong with the item in order for you to cancel your order and receive a full refund. It just means that you have changed your mind and no longer want this item.

If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14-day cooling off period runs from when you receive the last of the batch.

Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, you have a further 14 days in which to arrange for the goods to be returned to our premises at: Panasonic Store, 112 Academy Street, Inverness, IV1 1LX.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, please contact us by email at sales@freemanretail.co.uk. You may also complete, sign and return the following cancellation form for this purpose. Please email this completed form to us at sales@freemanretail.co.uk or alternatively post a complete form and send it to us by Recorded Delivery to: Panasonic Store, 112 Academy Street, Inverness, IV1 1LX.

Please note that the cost of sending the goods back to us where you wish to cancel for reasons which are not due to product performance or description will be payable by you unless agreed otherwise prior returning the goods. 


 13. 
Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

Items we supply are required to comply with the contract. You should check all products that you have received against your order. If any goods that you have received are faulty or damaged or not as stated in your order, then we request that you contact us as soon as possible with an outline of your complaint (either by telephone or email). You must then return the item(s) to our premises within 14 days from notifying us about the return, unless agreed otherwise.

Once an inspection, examination and investigation of your returned goods has been carried out by us, we will contact you again regarding our decision.

If returned goods (on inspection, examination and investigation by us bear no obvious signs of misuse and do not comply with the contract (or are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for the particular purpose for which they were bought) then we will endeavour to resolve your complaint in line with your consumer rights as follows:

-       Within 30 days of receipt of the goods, you will be offered the choice of a replacement or a full refund

-       From 30 days after receipt of the goods and up to first 6 months, we will arrange for a replacement of goods and if this does not work, a refund.

Once you agree to return the goods to us, we will bear the postage of return costs of the faulty or damaged goods, providing there is no obvious signs of damage by you, the consumer.

If after the first 6 months from the date at which the goods came into your possession, a fault with the goods you have purchased has come to light, you may (on our inspection, examination and investigation of this fault) be offered a partial refund or replacement.  14.  Accessories and any spare parts are supplied solely for use with the product to which they relate.  Where the goods are used for any other purpose, we shall not accept liability for any damage arising as a result of such use, and in these circumstances our liability, if any, shall be limited to the purchase price of any goods that are defective.



 15.  Data Security: any personal information provided by you for the purposes of entering into a purchase transaction with us shall only be used for the purpose of administering your order and for the provision of after sales service to you.  Such information shall not be released to any third parties save as for the purpose of fulfilling your order.



 16.  Please be aware that in no circumstances shall we be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising from our supply to you of any goods ordered. This does not affect our liability in respect of death, personal injury or physical damage to property arising as a result of negligence on our part.
